La scarpetta in gomma con i longheroni appartiene a una vecchia concezione di scarpetta sviluppata per le pale in plastica. I longheroni servivano per dare alla pala un gradiente di rigidezza. Nelle pale in carbonio, in cui è possibile con una corretta progettazione distribuire le rigidezza lavorando sulla sequenza di laminazione, i longheroni non sono più necessari. Al contrario hanno l'effetto estremamente negativo di fungere da smorzatori, pregiudicando il corretto funzionamento della pala per buona parte della sua lunghezza.

Ciao, l'adattamento delle scarpette swing sulle pale con predisposizione Mares o Pathos può essere effettuato solo incollando le scarpette (non si consiglia il collegamento bullonato, in quanto occorre fare dei nuovi fori sulla pala). L'incollaggio della scarpetta è semplice, e va fatto con adesivo cianacrilato (tipo Attack).

It is a real 35 size with proportioned dimension to feet confortable to 35 size, even if it can be suited easily to 34 size. I know people with 34 size which use with great confort too. on 2018-01-27 Are the footpockets meant to be worn with socks and if so, what thickness of socks do you recommend. I'm asking because my measurements fall between the 35-36 and the 37-38 but I dive in warm waters where a sock is not really necessary. So if the fins are normally meant to be worn with socks I could take the smaller ones and if they are too small for me with socks I should be able to wear them without...? My measurements are 22.5cm length, 86 width and 23.5cm circumference. In general my experience with footpockets has been that they are too big - I wear a 36/37 in most my shoes but in fins even the 35/36 by Leaderfins are loose (with 3mm socks) and I need finkeepers to make them stay on properly. So if you have 36 foot you can consider to have a tight 35-36 to use without socks or confortable 37-38 you can use with socks. Maybe 3 mm socks thickness could be usable if you choose 37-38.

Gluing footpcokets increases the durability of the blades. Composite materials in fact, experience a decrease of mechanical performance in presence of holes. Clearly if you have the need to dis-assemblying the footpocktes, you can fix with screw.

Salve, le nostre pale sono progettate per durare anche in assenza di longheroni. D'altronde sarebbe un controsenso irrobustire il carbonio, uno dei materiali più resistenti in natura, con della gomma. Tale approccio era invece plausibile con pale in plastica.

Salve, per poter prendere le misure in maniera efficace dovrebbe prenderle mentre indossa il calzare che lei normalmente utilizza. Quindi le misure vanno prese indossando il calzare normalmente utilizzato. Nel suo caso da quello che mi dice, se ha preso le misure senza calzare, con un calzare da 2 mm dovrebbe prendere la 43-44.

salve, le scarpette swing si adattano a diversi angoli di piega, non avendo i longheroni. Per quel che riguarda la porzione della pala nella scarpetta, le scarpette swing sono state progettate con una suola molto rigida, motivo per il quale le pale lavorano bene anche se la pala non arriva fino in fondo alla scarpetta.

Il numero adatto è il 45-46, ed è possibile montare la scarpetta sulla predisposizione mares, solo che bisogna incollarla e i vecchi fori restano fuori. per il resto vanno benissimo. L'intervento fatto da noi costa 100€ (praticamente il costo delle scarpette e quello dei waterails, il lavoro lo offriamo noi. Saluti

Hi our footpockets fit with the Meandros blades but you have to glue. Don't care about weight of swing footpcokets, since they are manufactured with a rubber that has the same density of water, so into the water they are neutral. Best regard

on 2019-04-01 salve porto il 43 ed in fiera a Bologna ho acquistato un paio di mantra 43-44. purtroppo ho il collo alto e pianta stretta. quindi in particolare il piede destro mi stringe/preme fastidiosamente con calzari da 3mm; con i 2 già va molto meglio. ho dato una scaldata col phon asciugacapelli STANDO LEGGERO e non ho ottenuto il risultato richiesto. la gomma è tosta e spessa... ho pensato di cercare da un calzolaio una forma per allargare, ma a me non serve allargare quanto alzare .... comunque se trovo la forma adatta ad alzare il collo vorrei sapere se è opportuno e funzionale una immersione in acqua calda a temperatura controllata e raffreddamento lento. nel caso qual'è la temperatura da utilizzare ed il giusto tempo d'immersione. grazie Answer:

on 2019-12-09 Buon pomeriggio, ho provato le vostre pinne Mantra grazie al mio istruttore e deciso di acquistarle, ma ho grosso dubbio sul numero di scarpetta in quanto ho provato la misura 43-44, che normalmente corrisponde al mio numero di piede (confermato anche dalla vostra tabella) ma certamente mi e' troppo grande (mi e' sono fatto anche un'escoriazione sulla parte del tendine d'achille). Dovrei quindi passare alla misura inferiore che nel caso specifico, sempre verificando le vostre tabelle, mi pare troppo piccola. Cosa mi consigliate di fare? Non esiste la misura che fa 42-43? Buongiorno Massimo, certamente, il suo problema è di semplice soluzione. Infatti le scarpette s-wing sono termoformabili, quindi basta scaldare un po la scarpetta utilizzano una pistola termica ed inserire dentro una bottiglietta di acqua da mezzo litro piena per fare un po leva ed allargare il collo del piede. Le consigliamo di fare poco per volta per evitare di allargare troppo. Cordiali Saluti

Salve, l'incollaggio si suppone si definitivo, quindi lo fa chi è sicuro di non voler cambiare la scarpetta...Nei casi in cui per motivi di necessità o rottura si debba sostituire una scarpetta incollata, bisogna tagliarla facendo cura a non danneggiare il carbonio con il cutter. Per questo motivo la scarpetta scollata sarà difficilmente recuperabile. Saluti

on 2021-06-15 Buongiorno. Sono interessato ad acquistare pinne (mantra) con scarpetta S-Wing. Per quanto riguarda la scarpetta, ho potuto provare la misura 43-44, ma mi risulta piuttosto larga di fiocca, il piede si muove nella scarpetta. Vedendo le misure indicate in tabella non riesco a trovare la quadra, perché il mio piede è lungo 27 cm (quindi sembrerebbe giusta la taglia 43-44), ma largo 10 cm (corrispondente alla taglia 41-42) e addirittura la circonferenza al collo del piede è soltanto 27 cm (corrispondente alla taglia 39-40, salvo errori nel prendere la misura, visto che va presa in obliquo). Sarei propenso per scegliere la 41-42, ma non vorrei che fossero troppo corte e non mi entrasse il piede visto che indicate una lunghezza max di 26 cm, mentre il mio piede è 27 cm. Che ne pensate?
