Hi, the length is calculated at the longest part. Regarding stiffness, it is hard to compare with Mantra, since the working principle of the blade is different. We can say that the feeling with Prana is of a reactive blade, also for soft stiffness.

Buongiorno Diego, la risposta potrebbe essere piuttosto lunga, perché dipende molto dal tipo di pesca che abitualmente pratichi. comunque direi che scegliendo MANTRA non sbagli mai...perchè è una pinna polivalente che si adatta a qualsiasi tipo di pesca: lunghe distanze a nuoto, bassofondo, profondità. Mi sentirei di escludere solo la pesca nella risacca nel bassissimo fondo (strusciapanza). on 2017-11-30 Salve ho acquistato due anni fa delle Prama soft per pescare sui 10 - 11 M al tempo pesavo 78kg e altezza 177 e mi sono trovato benissimo . Al momento ho riscontrato una fatica maggiore a scendere sugli 11 M forse dovuto al mio peso che è cambiato 83 kg . Vorrei chiedere per pescare sui 11-18m ed il mio peso 83kg faccio lunghi spostamenti in superficie mi consigliate delle Prama medie o delle Edge soft, utilizzo delle pinne prevalentemente per la pesca sportiva. Buongiorno Federico, per lunghi spostamenti a nuoto, consigliamo i modelli prana e mantra, infatti entrambi questi modelli hanno un inclinazione tale da favorire gli spostamenti in superficie. Il mio consiglio sarebbe quello di optare per un modello con la nuova scarpetta s-wing che comunque contribuisce a scaricare la pala. Quindi per esempio se lei acquistasse sempre una prana soft ma con scarpetta s-wing ne gioverebbe sicuramente. Hello, for your needs I strongly suggest Prana soft or Mantra medium. Mantra medium is a longer blades, so clearly the performance are higher, even if shorter blades are easier to be used in spearfishing. We can provide Pathos footpockets, but these footpockets cannot be screwed. Clearly holes in the blades reduce lifetime, even if this effect is minimised with our footpcokets. best regards

on 2018-09-22 Buon pomeriggio, vi contatto perchè fino a ieri nessun "collega" mi aveva parlato delle vostre pinne e guardando il sito credo che gli argomenti siano di alto livello. Sono un pescasub che alterna pesca entro i 15mt con pesca a 25-28 mt. Mi sposto principalmente con acquascooter o gommone e il mio peso sta tra i 90 e i 100kg abbondanti con 185cm di altezza. Diciamo che la spinta in superficie mi serve moltissimo a pinneggiare contro corrente per pescare a segnale e scendere almeno con un pò di fiato, magari evitando i crampi. Fino ad ora ho utilizzato un paio di C4 mustang 3 durezza 40 ma due settimane si è spezzata la pala destra nel punto di maggior carico, a 10-15 cm dalla scarpetta e nell'uscita successiva si è spezzata la pala sinistra di un paio di C4 wahoo, che tenevo come riserva, mentre ero in superficie. Onestamente spenderei meno a comprare solo delle pale nuove C4, visto che ho due paia di scarpette dx-sx, ma forse non è il prodotto più azzeccato per me. Che consiglio potreste darmi? Quale delle vostre pinne potrebbe essere la migliore nel mio caso? So che non posso chiedere a voi di fare paragoni con altri marchi ma probabilmente li avete studiati prima di mettere a punto il vostro progetto e quindi credo ne sappiate più di noi "consumatori di pinne" nel vero senso della parola!! on 2019-06-20 Hello, I am looking for an overall working fin, to safety competitions, teach and spearfish. I do travel quite a bit and I have been told that the Mantras are really good for deep diving, but lack the power and acceleration in a soft blade to perform a rescue at depth or catch up to a student or pull a fish up from depth. Però negli anni le quote operative son scese, ora pesco tra i 20 e i 30 tutta la pescata. Peso 60 kg e sono alto 1.77 . Mi sembra che la Prana dopo i 20/22 mt abbia uno stacco debole dal fondo. La mantra soft è quella che utilizzano anche i nostri atleti ,sia per i tuffi in profonditá che che per fare assistenza ai propri allievi. Per quanto riguarda il peso, ti posso assicurare che sono attualmente le piú leggere in commercio!

Salve, immagino che avrai molti kg in cintura.. ti spiego per il tuo peso ed esigenza dovresti prendere la PRANA SOFT,perfetta per lo strusciapanza , ottima per lunghi spostamenti in superficie e per la dinamica . Ma ovviamente devi calcolare che ,se ti carichi moto di zavorra con profondità di 20 metri avari dei problemi ... quindi la MEDIA sarà più dura e energica . Gestisci in questo modo, scaricando un pò di zavorra nel momento in qui ti sposti più in profondità

Fino ad ora ho pescato con delle mares razor soft scarpetta 43-44 anche se comunemente utilizzo scarpe da tennis misura 45. Che modello, durezza e misura della scarpetta mi consigliate??
