1) 100% IM7 carbon fibre.
2) The material used is 100 % Carbon Prepreg produced with hot melt impregnation system, using a micro-toughened tetra-functional epoxy resin.
3) 3D-Tech: Proprietary Technology, of CETMA COMPOSITES exclusive know-how, with high pressure, high temperature and high degree of applied vacuum, which lead to a component with 0% void level, without defects, with a uniform matrix/reinforcement ratio across the whole blade.

Abbiamo deciso di chiamare le pinne in carbonio Edge perché per la prima volta è stato messo a punto un processo innovativo in grado di assicurare un contenuto di resina costante in tutte le zone della pala. Ciò consente di avere uno spessore costante nell'angolo di piega, e di poter osservare controluce le diverse lamine costituenti la pala. Il tutto si traduce nell'ottimizzazione delle performance delle pale, sia in termini di spinta e reattività, sia in termini di durabilità.

Hi, Edge and mantra are different products, that provide different performance and feeling. Edge blade are reactive blades, suggested when the customer wants to feel the blades. Mantra blades are more technical blades, with a soft feeling, studied to maximise the propulsion minimizing the effort. Best regards

salve, nel suo caso le pale più adatte sono le edge soft o le mantra medium. La differenza sta nel fatto che le edge soft sono delle pale reattive che massimizzano lo stacco dal fondo. Le mantra medium invece sarebbero preferibili se lei fa parecchi spostamenti a nuoto. saluti

Differences between EDGE and MANTRA are not only the iclination angle, but stiffness distribution along the blade follow different approach. In fact EDGE in quite classical very reactive blade, Instead MANTRA is very soft perception because (dynamic resonance system) which make blade apparentely soft but with great propulsion capacity. Just as example MANTRA MEDIUM is softer than EDGE SOFT, but behaviour is different. Another option if you spearfish in not very deep water could be PRANA (I personally suggest soft up to 90 kg). Veri angled fins like mantra and prana are very useful if you have to cover distances by swimming this is veri effective and confortable feature for your ankles during surface swimming. Buongiorno, le volevo confermare le sensazioni che ha provato, nel senso che la pala MANTRA è pala multi-purpose cioè che va benissimo anche per la pesca subacquea, infatti quella "rigidezza" in più che ha sentito, rispetto alla MANTRA CWT COMPETITION, serve proprio per dare una reazione in più durante le fasi di stacco dal fondo per esempio nelle azioni di pesca... La MANTRA CWT COMPETITION invece è una pala più indicata per apnea pura garantisce una situazione di leggerezza in tute le fasi per risparmiare preziose energie nelle lunghe distanze sul cavo.... La EDGE invece è una pala un pò più nervosa, indicata sicuramente per la sola pesca. Visto il suo peso e le sue aspettative, le consiglierei una MANTRA soft, pinna versatile per qualsiasi utilizzo. I currently have XT Diving Pro T4 (reactive fin) and Pteryx (soft fin) and like them both. I am 75kg and 178cm, foot size 42/43 european. What model, firmness and footpocket size would you suggest? I am a little bit afraid of the long, 742mm, model (it is easier to damage). How would you compare Edge to Prana? Does glassfiber in Prana negatively affects its performance comparing to Edge? on 2019-09-14 Hello, I am interested in Edge fins with s-wing footpockets but I am unsure whoch softness to choose. My height is 181cm, weight is 80kg and I use 12kg of led for a 7mm wetsuit when spearfishing. I hunt at max 15m, I do a lot of surface swimming and sometimes in current. My current fins, Leaderfins Carbon Soft (in Mares Razor footpockets) I find too soft when I face even slight current. It feels like I overpower them when I need to swim against current. I would lile to have a bit more buffer and power potential for the situations when I have to swim agaimst current on the surface. At the same time I would like the fins to be comfortable and not stress the ankles and legs too much when swimmimg at normal speeds. I am unsure if I should choose soft or medium. Quando viene primavera estate uso calzari da 1,5 mm. Il mio numero di scarpe è il 44. Si certo può scegliere la scarpetta bianca che ha lo stesso costo delle rosse e poi nel check out durante l'acquisto scriva che le desidera con scarpette rosse. Nel frattempo le faremo aggiungere tra le opzioni di scelta.

on 2022-03-14 Salve sono un atleta outdoor,utilizzo delle edge durezza S per tuffi oltre i 60mt in CWT, vorrei fare un upgrade e passare a delle pale più performanti per l'assetto costante, dato che i tuffi diventano più impegnativi. Sono alto 170cm X 70Kg,utilizzo anche la mono e nel nuovo acquisto pinne sono indirizzato su scarpette di derivazione mono, nel vostro catalogo non trovo nulla tranne le Taras che però sono indicate per apnea dinamica. Sono allenato, anche come muscolatura delle gambe (nei mesi invernali sono in piscina 3 volte a settimana) e pesco regolarmente tra i 25 e i 35 metri quasi esclusivamente dalla barca. Salve le edge medium andranno sicuramente bene. per il numero dovrebbe confrontare le misure prese sul suo piede indossando il calzare, con quelle riportate sul sito nella sezione scarpette. Saluti

I'm a freediving instructor who does a lot of dives between 10-20m with students, but personally I am training to around 30m and am hoping to start training to 40m within the next year or so. I travel a lot so I need something fairly portable. I am 160cm tall and weigh 48kgs. Between the Mantra, Edge and Prana, what would you recommend for me? I was also wondering if you could help me with sizes for the foot pockets. Based on the measurement chart, I should order the 37-38. However, I'm currently diving with a pair of Cressi fins with footpockets that are 36-37 and they are too big for me, so I'm not sure if I should be buying the 37-38 or the 35-36. Thank you! Answer:

on 2023-05-31 Hello, I am hesitating a lot between the edge and the mantra. Could you please help me to decide? I am spearfishing in pacific, from 15 to 25 meters. No boat, so i have to swim a lot (few kilometers sometime). My weight is 62 kg but in add i have 5 to 7 kg ok lead on my belt. that means my total real weight is from 67 to 69 kg. I was first attracted by the mantra, but here we have some strong fishes sometime (wahoo, tuna, trevally...) and i am wondering if edge is not more appropriated for fighting them before the sharks get them. Hello, Edge and mantra are different products, that provide different performance and feeling. Edge blades are reactive blades, strongly recommended to spearfishers that want to feel the blade during the detach from the bottom. Mantra blades are more technical blades, with a soft feeling, studied to maximise the propulsion minimizing the effort. Just as example MANTRA MEDIUM is softer than EDGE SOFT, but behaviour is different. Mantra is very useful if you have to cover distances by swimming, Mantra blade is designed to minimize the energy required during swimming , in all conditions, and can be described as a soft blade.
